The Deakin University Three Minute Thesis (3MT) and Visualise Your Thesis (VYT) grand final event returns to a live format for the first time in two years as our brilliant research students compete to be the best at research communication.
We invite you to join our Master of Ceremonies, comedian, actor and Deakin alumnus Nazeem Hussain, for an afternoon of entertaining and compelling research and a chance to cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award.
3MT gives PhD students three minutes to describe their research project to a live, non-specialist audience.
VYT is a pre-recorded audio-visual and multimedia competition that showcases a researcher's project in just 60 seconds.
Come along and cheer for your favourite researchers!
The event will also be live streamed, so if you can’t join us in-person join us online instead.
