The most rewarding moments of my study at Deakin were the stimulating units and the opportunity to tailor the course to suit my personal interests.

Learn more about Ruvidunu's experiences

'Deakin's wide range of courses and the flexibility of units attracted me to study at Deakin. I had completed my first year of study through a Deakin pathway at the Institute Royal Institute of Colombo in Sri Lanka.

From my experience at Deakin, students get an opportunity to tailor their courses to suit their personal interests. I had the opportunity to pick World Religions as one of my elective units, which was an amazing experience as I had the chance to learn more about different cultures. I also believe that Deakin offers a wide range of student support services and support is always available to students both online and on-campus. Deakin lecturers are also more dedicated to the units and easily accessible to students.

I completed the IT Internship unit during my studies and obtain a cyber security internship at Deakin eSolutions. This was a great experience as I had the chance to learn more about IT Security in an organisation and gain experience working in fast-paced environment.'
