The Doctor of Medicine is accredited with the Australian Medical Council (AMC). Graduates who successfully complete pre-registration training will qualify as Registered Medical Practitioners in Australia and New Zealand.

Work in metropolitan and regional settings
There is currently a medical workforce shortage throughout Australia, particularly in rural, regional and outer metropolitan locations. To help address this, all students complete part of their clinical practice in regional and rural settings, developing important clinical networks.
